Give-A-Gift-Twice Campaign

Join me at the Stumptown Lit Book Fair Dec. 7th and      help donate a book to Toys For Tots

The Stumptown Lit Book Fair is an event sponsored by the Oregon Writers Colony. It runs from 1:30 to 5:00 PM at TaborSpace, 5441 SE Belmont Street in Portland on Saturday, December 7th.

In my Give-a-Gift-Twice campaign, and in support of the UPS Store Toys For Tots Literacy Program, if you purchase my novel at this event, or online at Amazon through December 15th, I will donate a second book to Toys For Tots. I will also get this all started by donating the first ten novels.

I look forward to seeing you at the event. If you can’t make it, then purchase online at Amazon and forward a copy of your email purchase confirmation to me at Schneiderhoaxes@gmail.com. When I receive it, I will donate a copy of the novel to Toys For Tots in your name. Purchases must be made by end of day, December 15th.

My novel, Hoaxes Roswell, is the perfect novel for young adults ages 10 to 15  and I would love to share it with kids who can’t afford it otherwise

The novel is set in the little town of Lake Oswego, Oregon in 1966. Mel is a young teen that wears sleeveless t-shirts, blue jeans, high-top Converse sneakers, and throws a really mean curveball.  Mel also happens to be a girl trying to deal with her dad’s death and a mother that can’t handle it.  She is also the only one who can figure out where debris is hidden that came from a UFO crash that happened outside Roswell, New Mexico back in 1947. The Air Force wants it to keep their cover-up of the crash, and the KGB would kill her for it because it is such a technological goldmine—but Mel is driven to find it because she knows it is her father’s last wish.

Hoaxes Roswell explores how a young girl solves a mystery while dealing with a father’s death, a mother’s mourning, a house fire, abduction, spaceships, spies, hoaxes…and first love.
